Finalists Announced

(Springfield, MO – Wednesday, August 8, 2007) The Young Architects Forum (YAF) a non-for profit organization and component of Springfield AIA (American Institute of Architects), would like to announce our finalists for the first-ever GRN:BOX design competition dedicated to Greening Springfield. We asked the areas best designers to collaborate and design prototype-recycling receptacles to be temporarily placed and tested in downtown Springfield. Thank you to all who participated and congratulations finalists!

Thank you to the jury members for selecting our finalists! The jury included the following participants: Phil Broyles, Assistant Director Public Works; Mary Collette, City Councilwoman; Matthew Hufft, principal Hufft Projects; and Rusty Worley, Executive Director UDA. They selected the following finalist’s to move on to phase II of the competition, finalist are shown in no particular order:
